Vivo X300 FE Powerful Launch Delights Compact Flagship Fans

Vivo X300 FE steps into the spotlight as a compact flagship, aiming to balance top-end power with a smaller, more manageable form factor.

The Vivo X300 FE is effectively the global version of China's Vivo S50 Pro Mini, now debuting quietly in Russia. It features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1,216×2,640 pixel resolution, adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and claimed peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, aimed at crisp outdoor visibility and smooth scrolling.

Despite the large battery inside, the phone stays relatively slim, measuring about 150.8×71.8×7.99mm in Cool Lilac and Graphite Black, and fractionally thicker in Moonlight White. Weight hovers around 190-191g, keeping it in comfortable one-handed territory for a flagship-grade handset.

At the core of the Vivo X300 FE sits Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, built on a 3nm process and paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top, and also adds an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for fast, secure unlocking.

A 6,500mAh battery underpins the device, supporting 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging, which should translate into all-day use with rapid top-ups when needed. Connectivity is equally modern, with 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and multi-band GNSS, alongside IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

On the rear, the Vivo X300 FE carries a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, while the front hosts a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The combination is pitched at users who want a compact device without giving up reach or detail, particularly in portraits and distant shots.

In Russia, the handset is on sale via retailers at around RUB 60,124 (roughly Rs. 71,000) for the 12GB/256GB model and RUB 64,405 (roughly Rs. 76,000) for 12GB/512GB, with colour options including Cool Lilac, Graphite Black and Moonlight White. It positions the Vivo X300 FE firmly in the premium tier, competing with other compact flagships rather than mid-range devices.

The Vivo X300 FE may not be a ground-up new design, but as a rebadged S50 Pro Mini it delivers serious hardware in a smaller footprint than many rivals. For buyers who still value a compact body yet expect high-end performance, long battery life and versatile cameras, this powerful FE model could be one of the more compelling options to watch as it expands beyond Russia.
