Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 105 against Kolkata Knight Riders marked a major milestone, as it became his 10th T20 century -- the most by any Indian batter in the format.

With this knock, Kohli also joined an elite global list of T20 century-makers, becoming only the fourth player in history to reach 10 or more T20 hundreds. He now sits behind Chris Gayle (22), Babar Azam (13), and David Warner (10), highlighting his consistency and longevity at the highest level.

He has also levelled with Rohit Sharma for the most 'Player of the Match' honours in IPL among Indian players, with 21 each.

Virat has made a huge leap in IPL 2026 run-charts, jumping to third spot in the Orange Cap race with 484 runs in 12 matches and innings at an average of 53.77 and a strike rate of 165.75, including a century and three fifties.

Kohli becomes first Indian to complete 14000 T20 runs

Chris Gayle (14,562), Kieron Pollard (14,482), Alex Hales (14,449), David Warner (14,284), and Jos Buttler (14,200) are ahead of Virat Kohli on the all-time T20 run-scoring list.

Kohli also became the fastest player to reach 14,000 T20 runs in terms of innings taken, achieving the milestone in 409 innings and surpassing Chris Gayle's previous record of 423 innings.

Chris Gayle leads the list for most centuries in T20 cricket with 22 hundreds, followed by Babar Azam with 13. David Warner and Virat Kohli are jointly third with 10 centuries each.
