BOC Aviation Limited appoints Adeline Lim as Chief Risk Officer
BOC Aviation Limited has announced the appointment of Adeline Lim as Chief Risk Officer, effective 25 May 2026.
In her new role, Lim will lead the company's global risk management function. Her responsibilities include overseeing airline credit risk and enterprise risk, along with managing governance frameworks across risk domains.
She succeeds Stephen Barnes, who will remain with the organisation for a transition period until his retirement.
Lim has over 13 years of experience in the aircraft leasing sector. She began her career as an aerodynamics engineer at DSO National Laboratories before moving into aircraft leasing. She previously worked with BOC Aviation Limited as a risk analyst, where her responsibilities included assessing maintenance exposure across the portfolio and working on airline risk coverage across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, including a tenure in London.

She later worked in the office of the Chief Executive Officer at BOC Aviation. Prior to her current appointment, she served as Executive Vice President, Portfolio Risk Management at SMBC Aviation Capital.
Lim holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
