American Airlines is welcoming travellers heading to one of the country's major tennis tournaments with an enhanced lounge experience at Miami International Airport in Miami . The airline's Flagship Lounge and Admirals Club lounges, located in Concourse D, are offering travellers a place to relax before or after attending the event .

The lounges provide seating areas, dining and bar spaces, work zones with Wi-Fi and charging points, and wellness facilities including shower suites. During the tournament week, visitors can also access event-themed menu items and cocktails, along with live broadcasts of matches.

Miami serves as one of American Airlines' key international gateways, with a large network connecting the United States with Latin America and the Caribbean. The airline operates more than 400 peak-day arrivals at the airport and has announced continued investments in the facility, including a new Flagship Lounge and an expanded Admirals Club lounge that are expected to increase lounge capacity.

Access to the Admirals Club lounges is available through membership, qualifying oneworld status or the Citi / AAdvantage Executive Credit Card, while day passes are also offered. Entry to the Flagship Lounge is available to eligible AAdvantage members and oneworld Emerald or Sapphire travellers on qualifying international itineraries, with single-visit passes available for purchase.
The airline has also outlined plans with Miami-Dade Aviation Department and Miami-Dade County to redevelop Concourse D, part of a broader investment aimed at improving airport operations and the overall travel experience.
