Sumit Kumar- Appointed Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Sumit Kumar has been appointed as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, bringing over 14 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry.

His experience includes managing teams, overseeing service delivery, and supporting revenue performance.

Prior to joining the hotel, he was associated with JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, where he handled operations at an all-day dining restaurant. He has also worked with The Leela Ambience Hotel & Residences Gurugram, managing dining outlets and guest service operations.

In his new role, Sumit will oversee food and beverage operations, with a focus on elevating dining experiences, strengthening service standards, and improving operational efficiencies.

Parvinder Singh Chauhan- Appointed as Loss Prevention Manager

Parvinder Singh Chauhan has been appointed as the new Loss Prevention Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown.

With over 14 years of experience in safety and security, his background includes roles across hospitality and retail environments. He has worked with Marriott International (including Fairfield by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, and Le Méridien), as well as The Lalit Group, The Roseate, Hyatt Regency, and DLF Limited.

His responsibilities include overseeing loss prevention operations, covering areas such as risk assessment, incident management, compliance, and emergency response planning.

He is an alumnus of University of Delhi and began his career in 2012 as a Security Associate in Aerocity, New Delhi. He has since held roles including Team Leader, Assistant Manager, and Security Manager. He has also been associated with the National Cadet Corps, where he completed A, B, and C certifications.

These appointments reflect the hotel's ongoing focus on strengthening operational functions across departments.
