Chef Somasundaram G Appointed as Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Kolkata
Hyatt Regency Kolkata has announced the appointment of Chef Somasundaram G as its new Executive Chef.
Chef Somasundaram brings 20 years of extensive culinary experience with expertise in kitchen operations, team development, menu engineering, and curating multiple cuisines.
Prior to this role, he served as Executive Chef at Sheraton Grand Chennai where he was responsible for overseeing culinary operations, with a focus on elevating guest satisfaction, quality and innovation. His career also includes a significant tenure with Marriott International for over 20 years, where he worked at key properties including Maxwell Reserve Singapore, Autograph Collection.
In his new role at Hyatt Regency Kolkata, Chef Somasundaram will oversee all culinary operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, improving food standards, and curating memorable dining experiences.
