The Imperia by Dhaba, an Indian fine-dining restaurant and part of a family-owned hospitality group with operations across New York City and New Jersey, has appointed Chef Ravinder Singh Negi as Assistant Chef.
In his new role, Chef Negi will focus on developing traditional Indian flavours, with particular attention to curry-based dishes and tandoor preparations. He will also contribute to menu planning and culinary direction, supporting the restaurant's approach to combining regional authenticity with contemporary presentation.
Chef Negi brings experience from several established hospitality organisations in India. He most recently served as Executive Chef at Sarpanch Bagh Restaurant, where he oversaw kitchen operations, maintained food safety and hygiene standards, and managed cost controls. His responsibilities also included supervising large-scale food preparation.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Old World Hospitality's Commissary Kitchen in Okhla, New Delhi, as a Chef de Partie. He also held the role of Demi Chef de Partie at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, and was part of the team at Chor Bizarre Restaurant in Noida.
His experience across these roles has contributed to his understanding of regional Indian cuisine and kitchen operations, which he will bring to his new position.
