Marriott International has announced the appointment of Devinder Singh Kaundal as its new Director of Operations at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat.
Devinder Kaundal brings over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with leading hotels including The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, The Westin Gurgaon, Fairmont Jaipur, Jaipur Marriott Hotel, The Westin Chennai Velachery, The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences, and Kaldan Samudhra Palace Chennai.
Prior to this appointment, Devinder held the role of Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Goa, where he also worked on improving operational efficiency, guest experience, and revenue performance within the division.
He holds extensive expertise in operational excellence, administration roles, team leadership and service delivery.
In his new role at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, Devinder will oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations, with a focus on service delivery, guest satisfaction, and operational performance. His key mandate include improving service standards, strengthening team efficiency, and ensuring consistency across all operational areas.
