WelcomHotel by ITC Hotels Mohali Chandigarh has appointed Suriya Vikrant Sharma as Pre-Opening Executive Chef.
He brings over 15 years of experience in food and beverage operations and will lead culinary planning during the hotel's pre-opening phase.
In this role, he will oversee kitchen planning, menu development, and culinary strategy, along with setting up food production systems and ensuring operational readiness ahead of the launch. His responsibilities also include establishing service standards, building kitchen teams, and aligning culinary offerings with the hotel's positioning.
Suriya Vikrant Sharma has experience across hospitality brands including The Oberoi Group, ITC Maurya, JW Marriott, and The Ritz-Carlton. His background includes managing large-scale operations, VIP banquets, and events. He has also gained international exposure with Atmosphere Core.
His experience includes work in menu design, cost management, and kitchen operations. He has been associated with large-scale events such as the G20 and B20, and holds certifications in food safety standards including ISO 22000 and HACCP.
His appointment comes as the hotel prepares for its opening, with a focus on establishing its culinary operations and service framework.
