Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

A Vision to Modernize Aircraft Maintenance Education
The partnership focuses on designing a 3-year B.Sc. program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). This course will integrate:
Academic excellence

- The initiative is expected to produce a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of India's rapidly expanding aviation sector
- New B.Sc. Course: Industry-Aligned Learning
Under this MoU:

👉 Centre of Excellence for Manufacturing Technologies
👉 Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has emphasized the need to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Manufacturing Technologies at GSV.

- The CoE will benefit around 1,000 students every year
- It will focus on advanced manufacturing and aviation technologies
- Students will gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and industry practices
- This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the technical capabilities of students and support India's ambitions in aviation manufacturing.

The Civil Aviation Ministry has praised GSV for:
