SAKSHI EDUCATION 1 week ago

The three-month residential programme, which started on August 3, aims to train deployment-ready engineers through classroom learning and practical industry exposure.

The curriculum includes reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), nuclear safety, engineering design, AERB regulations, quality assurance, and simulator-based training.

The programme has been introduced as India targets increasing its nuclear power generation capacity to 100 GWe by 2047. It is open to engineering graduates, working professionals, PSU executives, and industry personnel. Participants who complete the course will receive a joint certification from IIT Hyderabad and Crimson Energy Experts.

Officials said ANUGYAN will help build a skilled workforce to support India's expanding nuclear energy sector and strengthen the country's clean energy and self-reliance goals.
