According to the official press note, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various prestigious services such as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other Central Services Group 'A' and Group 'B' .
Category-wise Selected Candidates
The commission has also announced the category-wise number of selected candidates:
- General - 317
- EWS - 104
- OBC - 306
- SC - 158
- ST - 73
This makes a total of 958 candidates recommended for different civil services.
Service-wise Vacancies
The commission has announced vacancies for several services:
- IAS - 180 posts
- IFS - 55 posts
- IPS - 147 posts
- Central Services Group 'A' - 605 posts
- Group 'B' Services - 142 posts
In addition, some vacancies are reserved for candidates under PwBD categories.
Selection Process
The final ranking of candidates is prepared based on marks obtained in the Written Mains Examination and the Personality Test (Interview).
- Written Mains Examination - 1750 marks
- Personality Test (Interview) - 275 marks
The total 2025 marks determine the final rank of the candidates. Marks obtained in the Preliminary examination are not counted in the final result.
