Independent MP Pappu Yadav dresses up as a priest; Rahul Gandhi drops money into the donation box

New Delhi - Opposition Members of Parliament staged a satirical skit in the Parliament premises to criticise the Government over the alleged theft of donations at Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

As part of the protest, Independent MP from Bihar Pappu Yadav was dressed as a priest and sat beside a donation box. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen dropping money into the donation box. Thereafter, Yadav bowed at the feet of Samajwadi Party MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad, picked up the donation box, wrapped it up, and suddenly ran away from the spot.

During the political skit, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other leaders held placards reading, "Why is Home Minister Amit Shah missing from Parliament?"
