Filmmaker Aditya Dhar on Wednesday urged fans not to share spoilers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge and to stay in their seats until the end credits, calling the unprecedented love for the first film "the most humbling, most moving gift a filmmaker can ever receive." The Ranveer Singh-led spy saga began with paid preview screenings from 5:30 pm on Wednesday across many cinemas, ahead of its official Thursday release.

Dhar, who wrote, directed, and co-produced the film, emphasized that the sequel is meant to be experienced on the big screen.
In a statement on X, he appealed to audiences: "Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious and walk out with their own deeply personal version of what they felt… Now I'm trusting you to protect what this becomes."
He also reminded viewers not to leave until the credits finish rolling.
The first Dhurandhar, released on December 5, 2025, followed undercover operative Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh, as he infiltrated Karachi's criminal and political networks to dismantle a terror plot.
Featuring Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, the film earned Rs 1,300 crore globally.
Dhar thanked audiences for embracing the movie, saying fans had debated, rewatched, and deeply engaged with every detail, turning the film into a shared, worldwide experience.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge charts Hamza's rise in the Karachi underworld while exploring his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
Dhar said the team aimed to deliver genuine surprises and emotions, crafted for a theatrical experience "in the dark, surrounded by friends, family, and even strangers, everyone feeling the same emotions."
He highlighted that the film's twists and emotional beats are best felt in a cinema, rather than on mobile screens.
Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, the sequel will release in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, continuing the high-stakes spy saga with the promise of intensity, emotion, and cinematic spectacle. (PTI)
