Tucker Budzyn, the beloved Golden Retriever known online as the "Golden boy," has died at eight following unexpected complications from lymphoma.
His owner, Courtney Budzyn, announced his death in an emotional video on September 5, revealing that Tucker passed away on September 2, less than a week after his cancer diagnosis.
Courtney said Tucker had been responding well to treatment but had lymphoma in his intestines, which they had not known about. She described him as "part of my soul" and acknowledged his millions of followers, saying Tucker belonged to them too.
Adopted in 2018, Tucker became a major social media personality through his playful videos and photos on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Fans worldwide shared tributes and condolences following his death. Tucker is survived by his son, Todd, who also appears online with Courtney. Their story will be featured in the upcoming picture book Of All the Sniffs I Love the Most, due in November. (ANI)
