Khliehriat, July 30: Rymbai Pohskur SC and Suchen Rim SCSC emerged victorious, while Shiborlang SC Pynthorsale and Umlong SSCC played out a goalless draw as the 3rd Division 2026 League Stage football tournament, organised by the East Jaiñtia Hills District Football Association (EJHDFA), continued at the Artificial Ground, Diengshynrum, here on Wednesday.
Rymbai Pohskur SC secured a comfortable 3-1 win over Sonapyrdi FSC in the day's opening fixture. Sanhame Bareh starred with a brace, converting penalties in the 34th and 75th minutes, while Shanki Dkhar sealed the victory with a goal in the 79th minute. Sonapyrdi FSC's only goal also came from the penalty spot, with Affarming Tlang finding the net in first-half stoppage time.
In the second match, Suchen Rim SCSC registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Mookhep SCSC. Wanmiki Suchen struck the all-important goal in the 35th minute to earn his side all three points.
The third and final match of the day saw Shiborlang SC Pynthorsale and Umlong SSCC settle for a goalless draw, with both teams unable to break the deadlock despite creating opportunities.
