The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the first 20 days schedule for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the tournament opener on 28th March in Bengaluru. Interestingly, RCB is playing 5 of their home matches in Bengaluru, while remaining 2 matches in Raipur.
In the first 20 days schedule which has been released, RCB is playing a total of 4 matches, of which two are home matches and two are away matches. They will start off their season with home match against the SRH, followed by a 5 April match against Chennai Super Kings. Post this, RCB will travel to Guwahati to play against Rajasthan Royals at their second home venue, Guwahati and then play Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 12 April.
