Twitter Reacts As India Once Again Dominate South Africa On Day 3

The Indian team had another dominating day against South Africa on the third day of the second Test match at Pune. India was able to skittle out the Proteas for 275 runs and the tourists still trail by 326 runs. Thus, it would be interesting to note whether Virat Kohli will enforce the follow-on or not. The hosts' had a perfect start to the day as Mohammed Shami was able to get rid of the nightwatchman Anrich Nortje.

Subsequently, Umesh Yadav dismissed Theunis de Bruyn as soon as the right-hander was finding his groove. Wriddhiman Saha took a fine diving catch to his right to send de Bruyn packing.

India has a huge lead under their belt.

South Africa made a small recovery after skipper Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock added 75 runs for the sixth wicket partnership. Faf du Plessis played some attacking shots after getting his eye in and took on the attack against Indian spinners.

However, Ravichandran Ashwin came up with a jaffa to bamboozle Quinton de Kock . The off-spinner hit the top of off-stump and it took de Kock some time to realize that he has been bowled.

Faf du Plessis was also dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin soon after the South African skipper completed his fifty. The outside edge was neatly taken by Ajinkya Rahane to leave the visitors on the ropes at 162-8. The tourists' found themselves at sea after Senuran Muthusamy decided not to play at Ravindra Jadeja's delivery.

However, as has been the case in this series, South Africa's lower order refused to throw in the towel. Keshav Maharaj and Vernon Philander added 109 runs to save their team from humiliation. Maharaj once again impressed with the bat as he added 72 runs.
