Noida International Airport's domestic network is expanding rapidly, with IndiGo launching 31 flights in a single day and Akasa Air building up its presence through fresh Mumbai connections, less than three weeks after the airport began operations on 15 June 2026.
On 1 July , IndiGo introduced eight new destinations from the airport, adding Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Pantnagar to its network. Kishangarh is being added on 2 July, bringing the airline's total destination count from Noida to 15.
This follows an earlier round of expansion when IndiGo began flying to Bengaluru, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Jammu and Amritsar during the airport's opening days between 15 and 16 June.
Akasa Air, meanwhile, started daily flights to Mumbai from 2 July, based on details listed on its booking platform, and plans to raise this to two daily flights starting 3 July.
The airline had earlier become the first carrier to link India's two greenfield airports through its Noida-Navi Mumbai route.
Both carriers had begun Noida operations with 12 daily flights on 16 June, split between eight IndiGo services and four Akasa services. Among IndiGo's newer routes, flights to Bareilly, Jodhpur and Kishangarh will run on alternate days, while the rest operate daily.
The carrier is set to add two more daily flights on the Chandigarh sector from 13 July.
This expansion strengthens IndiGo's hold over the National Capital Region's aviation market, as the airline now flies from all three airports in the region, Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, Hindon Airport and Noida International Airport.
Air India and Air India Express have not yet begun commercial services from Noida.
The airport is aiming for 40-42 daily flights this month and currently offers DigiYatra enabled processing along with self-service check-in and baggage-drop facilities.
International services are expected to begin in the coming months, with the airport's first phase built to handle 12 million passengers annually.
