Keolis India Pvt. Ltd. has selected the Octave Attune Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform to support the operations and maintenance of Pune Metro's Line 3, news agency ANI reported.

The software solution, previously known as HxGN EAM, is developed by Octave, a potential software spin-off from Hexagon AB.

The decision follows a detailed evaluation process involving technical assessments, product demonstrations and consultations.

With the selection of Attune EAM, Keolis India aims to establish an integrated system to monitor and manage the full lifecycle of assets associated with the upcoming metro corridor.

Pune Metro Line 3 is currently under construction and will stretch approximately 23 km with 23 stations. The line is expected to improve urban mobility by linking Shivajinagar, a major business district, with the Hinjewadi IT hub, where more than 150,000 professionals work.

The corridor is being developed in response to increasing residential growth and rising traffic congestion in the region.

The metro project is being implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework, with Keolis India awarded a 10-year contract to operate the line once it becomes operational.

Through the deployment of the Attune EAM platform in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, Keolis India will manage key infrastructure assets including rolling stock, rail tracks, stations, civil structures, utilities and the automatic fare collection system.

The platform also incorporates Generative AI capabilities aimed at improving asset monitoring, reliability and long-term performance.

As the metro line moves through its commissioning phase, the system will help create a comprehensive digital register of assets from the beginning, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.

The solution will also integrate with other operational systems such as ERP, BIM and operational technology platforms.
