Medak: Kulcharm police seized 143 quintals of PDS rice while it was being transported from Bodhan via Medak from Chandrayanagutta in the early hours of Thursday.
The driver of the DCM vehicle agreed that he had collected the rice from the ration card holders in the Chandrayangutta area.
The police seized the vehicle and rice which was safely kept in a local rice mill. The probe was on.
