Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A fisherman, Kosari Rameas, drowned while fishing in the Wardha river near Thatipalli village on Wednesday. His body was recovered on Thursday.
He is suspected to have drowned after venturing into the deepest spot in the river.
The fisherman's family members expressed concern when he did not return home till late night on Wednesday. They approached the police, who in turn launched a search for the fisherman and found his body in the river at 9 am.
