Hyderabad: The Telangana police have successfully recovered 1,24,850 mobile phones that were lost or stolen by owners, based on complaints reported on the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) since 5 September, 2022.
The police had also blocked 4,82,652 mobile phones that were tracked down, while it received 2,82,260 reports of traceability.
"Telangana has emerged as the top-performing state in the country in recovery of stolen or lost mobile phones," said DG Charu Sinha.
