Serious allegations have surfaced from Panjagutta, where two brothers, identified as Jameer and Miraj, are accused of deceiving young women in the name of love and subjecting them to harassment.
According to complaints, the accused allegedly lured multiple women into relationships and later pressured them to change their religion. Victims have claimed they were emotionally manipulated and harassed after being drawn into these relationships.
Police sources indicate that nearly five women may have been targeted in similar circumstances, raising concerns about a possible pattern. Notably, Jameer had previously been booked in a POCSO case and had served time in jail. Despite this, authorities say there appears to have been no change in his behavior.
The latest complaint was filed by a young woman who alleged that she was trapped in a relationship and later pressured to convert. Based on her statement, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
Officials are now trying to identify and reach out to other potential victims as the probe continues. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
