The Trust has also appealed to fans and the public to join the humanitarian effort by contributing essential relief materials.

According to official reports, the floods have claimed 75 lives and displaced lakhs of people across seven districts. Many families have been left without access to food, clean drinking water, medicines, shelter, and other basic necessities, creating an urgent need for relief and rehabilitation.

Responding to the crisis, the Nandamuri Basava Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust has begun collecting essential supplies, including clothes, blankets, footwear, dry food, rice, drinking water, sanitary kits, and other daily-use items. These materials will be transported to the flood-affected regions of Assam to assist families in need.

The relief drive was formally launched at the NTR Statue near JNTU, KPHB, Hyderabad, in the presence of Nandamuri Mohana Roopa, Tummala Prasanna Kumar, and NBK Fan Anantapur Jagan. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of Balayya Yuva Sena and several volunteers, who joined hands to collect and organize relief materials for dispatch.

The initiative has received a positive response, with people from different regions coming forward to donate essential items and extend their support. Organisers said they have also been receiving numerous calls from individuals willing to contribute to the relief mission.

Speaking on the occasion, Nandamuri Mohana Roopa thanked everyone who supported the initiative and encouraged more people to participate through the Nandamuri Basava Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust. She said every contribution, regardless of its size, would help provide relief and hope to families affected by the devastating floods.

Reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian service, the Trust urged citizens to stand together in support of the people of Assam and contribute to the ongoing relief efforts during this challenging time.
