Director: Partho Ghosh

Rating: *

A beleaguering love story that turns sour because of a long-festering past misstep, this film is laughably ridiculous in its attempt to convince.

The millennial audience is certainly not going to forgive a trashy, unlettered representation of a jinxed romance represented by a totally expressionless Amar( a 30 plus Mukesh Bharti trying to fit himself into a PhD student role that should have gone to a younger, more expressive actor) and his disinterested attempts to foster a romance with ace tennis champion Anjali( Madalsa Sharma) whose exhibition of tennis skills resembles that of a cricketer with his bat. It's another matter that the conscripted, unconvincing bonhomie wasn't meant to last for long as Anjali's father (Avinash Wadhavan) goes into a fret and fume, vindictive overdrive to convey his reluctance for allowing the marriage to take place. The audience is unlikely to be bothered though. Bappi Lahiri's music is totally out of tune and outdated too. Choreography, editing and cinematography lack style, and craft. Performances are laughable.

The wastefulness evident in this clueless exhibition of directorial and scripting ineptitude is unredeemable and inexcusable.
