National Book Trust editor accused of molestation, case registered
A case of sexual harassment has been registered against National Book Trust editor (Malayalam) activist Rubin D'Cruz and former director of Kerala State Children's Literature Institute. This case was filed by a woman from Kerala, who is currently living in Delhi.
The woman has claimed that the incident took place on October 2, 2020. He said that he had also written a Facebook post referring to the incident, in which he had been told about the alleged traumatic physical attack. The victim and the accused know each other
DCP of South-West Delhi, Injeet Pratap Singh said that a case has been registered against Rubin D'Cruz under Section 354 (Intent on assaulting or criminalizing a woman). In this regard, a case was registered in Vasant Kunj North Police Station in February. Legal action is being taken as per law.
Police said that both the accused and the victim, who are married, know each other. The woman's statement has been recorded and legal action is being taken.
