Six people covid-19 positive, but no cricketer: Cricket South Africa
Johannesburg. Cricket South Africa (CSA) said on Wednesday that in the 50 tests conducted before the 3-team cricket match to be held on Saturday , six people have been found corona virus positive but no cricketer is involved. CSA said in a statement, "Cricket South Africa can confirm that the players, coaches, associates and venue staff for the preparation of the 3 team cricket match to be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from July 10 to 13 at various venues in the country. About 50 covid-19 PCR tests were conducted. ''
It said, "Six people were found to be Corona positive, but there is no player involved in the match. CSA's medical team is taking care of them as per the current guidelines of the Health Department. However, CSA did not say who these positive people are. Cricket will be restored after the break from the Kovid-19 in South Africa from the '3Tricket' tournament on July 18. The 'Solidarity Cup' will see 24 top cricketers from South Africa take part in three teams - The Eagles, Kingfishers and The Bites.
