PETITION WAS REJECTED IN SUPREME COURT FOR PROTECTION HINDUS IN BANGLADESH

Case:Rajesh Dhanda v. Union of India Ministry of External Affairs & Ors.

SC UPHOLDS UP GOVERNMENT STAND ON SAMBHAL WELL DISPUTE

Case:Committee of Management, Shahi Jama Masjid, Sambhal v. Hari Shankar Jain & Ors.

The UP government told the Supreme Court that a contested well close to the Shahi Jama Masjid is located on public property. It declared that the well has no religious significance, rejecting the mosque committee's allegation.
