BoAt Hive Dashcam F1, Dashcam M1, and Dashcam E1 models have been announced in India and here's everything they offer.
BoAt has announced the launch of three new dashcams in India including the BoAt Hive Dashcam F1, Dashcam E1, and Dashcam M1. The Dashcam F1 supports 4K recording, followed by 2K recording in Dashcam M1 and 1296p recording in the E1. Here's everything else to know about the dashcams.
The F1 costs Rs 9,999, while the M1 and E1 cost Rs 4,499 and Rs 2,499, respectively. They are available via Boat's website, Amazon, and Flipkart with Black shades for the M1 and E1 and a Steel Blue hue for the BoAt Hive Dashcam F1.
The Hive Dashcam E1 is aimed at everyday driving and records footage in 1296p Full HD, capturing clear details such as number plates, traffic signals, and nearby vehicles. Its low-light processing helps reduce noise in darker environments, while a 126° field of view offers wide coverage across multiple lanes, making it suitable for both city roads and highways.
To ensure continuous recording, the dashcam uses loop recording that automatically overwrites older, unprotected files when storage fills up. An adjustable G-sensor detects sudden braking or impacts and locks emergency footage to prevent it from being deleted.
The E1 supports microSD cards up to 256GB and connects to smartphones via built-in Wi-Fi using the HiveCam app, which allows users to view recordings and adjust settings. It also includes a built-in microphone and speaker, and supports parking surveillance when paired with an optional hardwiring kit. The dashcam is designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C.

The Hive Dashcam M1 records in 2K Quad HDResolution (2560×1440) using a 4MP sensor, offering sharper and more detailed footage compared to Full HD models. It includes built-in GPS, which embeds route, speed, and location data into video files that can be reviewed later through the HiveCam app. A 0.96-inch display on the device shows key status indicators such as Wi-Fi connectivity, audio, and storage status.
Hands-free operation is supported through Voice commands that allow users to start or stop recording and lock important clips. A 3-axis G-sensor automatically protects emergency footage during sudden movements or collisions. The dashcam uses loop recording for uninterrupted capture and supports microSD cards up to 512GB.
Additional features include low-light recording, a wider 140° field of view for broader lane coverage, a super capacitor for improved temperature stability, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, and microphone and speaker support. When used with an optional hardwiring kit, the M1 also offers parking surveillance with impact detection.
The Hive Dashcam F1 is a dual-channel system designed for users who want advanced safety features and wider coverage. The front camera records 4K footage using a 5MP sensor, while the rear camera captures Full HD video. A Sony STARVIS IMX335 sensor enhances clarity in low-light conditions such as nighttime driving and tunnels.
This model includes AI-based ADAS features like lane departure warnings, forward collision alerts, and front vehicle movement detection. A 2.4-inch display allows users to view and play back recordings directly on the dashcam without relying on a smartphone. Voice commands enable camera switching, photo capture, and emergency file locking.
Built-in GPS embeds travel data into recordings, while Wi-Fi 6 allows faster file transfers. The dashcam offers a wide 150° field of view, loop recording, G-sensor-based emergency protection, support for microSD cards up to 512GB, and optional 24-hour parking monitoring through a hardwiring kit. It is also designed to operate reliably in temperatures between -20°C and 70°C.
