Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Flip 8, Z Fold Wide, Galaxy Glasses, Galaxy Watch 9 Series Tipped for July Launch, Gemini Intelligence to Also Debut

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 series, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Flip 8, Galaxy Glasses, and Z Fold Wide will all debut in July per a new report.

A new set of reports have emerged online, giving us an exact date on when the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Watch 9 series could launch.

Along with that, there's a rumour that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 will also be the first Samsung devices to support Gemini Intelligence.

The reports come from Seoul Economic Daily, suggesting the Galaxy Watch 9 series, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will all debut on July 22 in London. The brand could also launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide/Z Fold Wide at the event which has also already leaked before. Samsung won't stop there, as it may also be bringing its first smart glasses called Galaxy Glasses to the same event.

While Samsung is yet to officially confirm the date, leaks suggest that it is going to be a huge event for the company. Apart from its regular announcements, the company is going to debut two entirely new products which it hasn't launched before - Galaxy Glasses and Galaxy Z Fold Wide.

Another report from the same publication notes that the upcoming foldables from Samsung will be preloaded with One UI 9 that supports Google's newly announced Gemini Intelligence. The report reads that "Gemini Intelligence will be commercialized for the first time through Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 in the Galaxy series." However, this is something that was expected considering Google already confirmed while announcing Gemini Intelligence that it will begin rolling out in waves starting with the latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones this summer.

Gemini Intelligence is described by Google as a new set of AI-powered features designed to automate everyday tasks across Android devices. The company says the experience has been heavily optimised for devices such as the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10, particularly for food delivery and rideshare apps.

According to Google, Gemini Intelligence will be able to handle multi-step actions automatically. This could include tasks like booking a preferred bike slot for a spin class, finding a syllabus inside Gmail, and adding required books to a shopping cart without users manually switching between apps.
