Google Increases AI Studio Limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra Subscribers

Google has increased the AI Studio limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and here are the details of the development.

Google has announced that it will now be providing higher usage AI studio limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.

"This update also includes access to Nano Banana Pro and Gemini Pro models, providing developers with more versatility right out of the gate," said the company.

With the increased AI studio limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, the AI plans from Google now serve "as a low-setup billing bridge" as per the company. "While pay-per-request API keys remain the standard for production-scale launches, these subscriber benefits offer an easy entry point to developers who would like to experiment and prototype more deeply with AI Studio," said Google. "When you're ready to launch, transitioning to an API setup is easily handled within AI Studio," it added.

Google AI Studio essentially gives users access to Gemini models via web browsers. The company describes AI Studio as "the fastest way to start building with Gemini." Earlier this month, the company debuted prepay billing in Google AI Studio. With Prepay Billing, you can purchase Gemini API credits when setting or linking a Google Cloud Billing Account in Google AI Studio. "This flow ensures that developers can start building immediately without the risk of surprise charges at the end of the month."

The increased AI studio limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers serves as an alternative in this case. You now not only get higher usage limits and access to Nano Banana Pro and Gemini Pro models, but also have higher access to Google Antigravity, Jules, Gemini Code Assist, and Gemini CLI.

So now if you are a Google AI plan subscriber, on first use, you will get two options: "Pay per request" or "Google AI."
