JBL Cove speakers will be available in white and black from September 13, 2026, through JBL.com. They are priced as follows:

• JBL Cove M1: USD 229.95 (approx Rs 21,805)
• JBL Cove P1: USD 399.95 (approx Rs 37,920)
• JBL Cove X1: USD 449.95 (approx Rs 42,665)

The Cove lineup includes the JBL Cove M1, Cove P1 and flagship Cove X1, with all three models capable of working individually, as stereo pairs or as part of a whole-home audio setup through the JBL One app.

The JBL Cove M1 is the most compact option in the lineup and is designed for everyday listening at home. It features two 30mm drivers, a 20mm silk dome neodymium tweeter and a 4-inch woofer. The speaker supports JBL's Constant Sound Field, automatic self-tuning and AI Sound Boost technologies, but does not support Dolby Atmos.

The JBL Cove P1 is positioned as the more flexible option, adding a portable design and a built-in battery. It features three 30mm drivers, a 20mm silk dome neodymium tweeter and a 4-inch woofer, along with Dolby Atmos support. The speaker is rated to offer up to 14 hours of battery life and carries an IP56 rating.

At the top of the lineup, the JBL Cove X1 is designed to deliver a more immersive, room-filling sound experience. It features four 30mm silk dome neodymium tweeters, including an up-firing driver, along with two 4-inch woofers. Dolby Atmos is supported, while the speaker also includes JBL's self-tuning, Constant Sound Field and AI Sound Boost technologies.

All three speakers can be used as standalone units or paired in stereo. They can also be connected as part of a whole-home audio setup, allowing users to play music across multiple rooms. The speakers are compatible with JBL Bar Series MK2 soundbars, although the Cove X1 supports multi-room music integration with the soundbars only.

JBL has designed the system to avoid some of the hassle associated with multi-room speakers. Users can create groups through the JBL One App when they want music to play throughout the home, while individual speakers can be used separately without having to constantly regroup or reset the system.

The speakers also support JBL's Music Follows Me feature. By pressing and holding the Moment button, users can move their music or TV audio from one speaker to another without needing to reach for their phone or open the app. Spotify Tap is also supported for quick access to Spotify.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect. JBL also says built-in voice control through Alexa+ will be available later this year.
