The device gets an IPS LCD display and runs on the latest Android 16 operating system. The company claims to offer a clean software experience.

The Shark 2 5G can be purchased via your nearest retail stores starting June 10. It comes in Sonar Gold and Arya Blue colour options, with a price tag of Rs 11,999 for the sole 4GB + 64GB variant.

The Lava Shark 2 5G sports a 6.75-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. Under the hood, the device features the Unisoc T8200 chipset and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 4GB of virtual RAM. There's 64GB of built-in UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 1TB and the phone runs on Android 16 OS.

For optics, you get a 13-megapixel main camera on the back. You also get an 8MP selfie shooter. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.

Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. There's also a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single bottom firing speaker. The device is also IP64 rated for dust and water resistance.
