LG Essential series ACs have been launched in India with support for 6-in-1 convertible modes, VIRAAT mode, and more.
LG Essential series ACs have been launched in India following the announcement of the series back in November 2025. These new ACs come equipped with a Smart Inverter Compressor and Variable Tonnage Technology and also have 6-in-1 convertible capability.
Pricing and availability for the models are yet to be revealed. A 2-star 1-ton model is listed on LG's website but the price remains unknown.
At the core of the LG Essential series ACs is the company's Smart Inverter Compressor, which adjusts its speed depending on how much cooling the room needs. This allows the air conditioner to cool the room quickly at the start and then slow down once the desired temperature is reached, helping maintain comfort while keeping energy use in check.
LG also bundles this with Variable Tonnage Technology, which further fine-tunes cooling based on real-time demand. The inverter compressor comes with a 10-year warranty, underlining the long-term reliability focus.
To suit different usage patterns, the LG Essential series ACs include a Convertible 6-in-1 feature that lets users switch between multiple cooling modes depending on weather and power consumption needs. For lighter usage, Diet mode helps lower electricity usage, while Active Energy Control offers four levels of power management.
When temperatures climb sharply, VIRAAT mode boosts cooling capacity significantly and allows the AC to operate at lower temperature settings for faster relief. There's also a Smart Care mode that automatically adjusts airflow and temperature based on indoor conditions.
The range is built with Indian conditions in mind. Gold Fin+ anti-corrosion coating helps protect key components from rust and environmental damage, while 100 percent copper tubing improves durability over time. To handle voltage fluctuations, the LG Essential series ACs are designed to run without an external stabilizer and support a wide operating voltage range, making them suitable for areas with unstable power supply.
