Milagrow iMap G5 ECO robotic vacuum cleaner has been launched in India. The vacuum cleaner comes as a fully autonomous wet and dry-cleaning solution with large 3.5 L self-dust emptying capabilities. It also has smart capabilities like Alexa and Google Assistant support. Here's everything else it has to offer.

The iMap G5 ECO packs Milagrow's RT2R 4.0 navigation system, which combines LDS LiDAR and SLAM mapping technologies to create detailed maps of a home and plan cleaning routes intelligently. The robot continuously scans its surroundings while cleaning, helping it avoid obstacles, reduce unnecessary overlaps, and further ensure better coverage. Then, it can also save multiple floor maps and display real-time cleaning progress through the companion app, so one can easily track which areas have already been cleaned.

For cleaning performance, Milagrow has equipped the robot with a Japanese brushless motor capable of delivering up to 14,000Pa suction power. This allows the vacuum to tackle everything from everyday dust and as well as crumbs to pet hair and debris lodged deep within carpets. Alongside vacuuming, the robot can also mop floors using an electronically controlled 210ml water tank that regulates water flow which basically enables more consistent cleaning. The pressure-assisted mopping mechanism is designed to help remove tougher stains and dried dirt more effectively.

One of the standout features of the iMap G5 ECO is its ability to operate for extended periods, all without requiring much user attention. The robot packs a 5,200mAh battery that can deliver up to 300 minutes of runtime, which Milagrow says is enough to clean homes measuring up to 3,500 square feet. If the battery runs low midway through a cleaning session, the robot automatically returns to its charging dock and resumes cleaning from the exact point where it left off after recharging.

The company has also focused on reducing maintenance. The included self-emptying dock uses a sealed 3.5-litre dust bag that can store collected dust and debris for up to 90 days before needing replacement. Combined with the built-in HEPA filtration system, the setup is designed to capture fine dust particles, allergens, and airborne pollutants, which then helps improve indoor air quality while also keeping manual cleaning to a minimum.

Navigation and safety are handled by a network of 32 intelligent sensors, including cliff detection, obstacle sensors, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and dirt detection technology. These Sensors help the robot move safely around furniture, avoid staircases, and adapt to different floor surfaces. Milagrow says the iMap G5 ECO can clean a variety of surfaces, including marble, tiles, hardwood flooring, carpets, linoleum, and glass-finish floors.

As for the smart features, users can control the robot through the Milagrow app, using which they can schedule cleaning sessions, create virtual walls, define no-go zones, and monitor cleaning activity remotely. Then, voice control is also supported through Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant. Furthermore, the robot offers multilingual voice interaction, including support for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, English, German, and Russian.
