Nothing Phone 4a Pro battery and charging speed details have been revealed via a new certification suggesting that the device may not be getting a huge upgrade in this area.

Key specifications of the Phone 4a series have already been leaked once before.

According to the EU's EPREL certification where the Phone 4a also got certified recently, the Phone 4a Pro carries the model number A069P and packs a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging. In comparison, the Phone 3a Pro also had the same charging speeds and a marginally smaller 5,000mAh battery. Considering the Phone 3a Pro and the Phone 3a shared identical battery and charging speeds, it nay be the same case with the 4a series as well.

Adding to the Nothing Phone 4a Pro battery details, the EPREL listing also claims that the battery can sustain 1,400 charge cycles before decreasing to 80 percent of its original capacity. Also, the certification further confirms that the device is IP65 rated. The Phone 3a series was IP64 rated so the Phone 4a series may have slightly better resistance against dust.

Moreover, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro also appeared on India's BIS certification platform which isn't a surprise but it does confirm that the launch of the devices is imminent. The Phone 3a series debuted in March of 2025 so a similar launch timeline may be on the cards for the Phone 4a series also.

We should know more about the devices as the launch nears. Former leaks indicate that Phone 4a could run on a Snapdragon 7s series chipset, while the Phone 4a Pro may use a Snapdragon 7 processor. Both devices are expected to feature the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platforms launched in 2025-an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 powering the Phone 3a series.
