OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V have been announced in China with Snapdragon chipsets with their main USP being the 9000mAh batteries which are the largest ever seen in any OnePlus phones.
The devices have dual rear cameras, 165Hz displays, and more. Here's everything to know about them.
The Turbo 6 starts at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 27,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB model. It comes in Light Chaser Silver, Lone Wolf Black and Wilderness Green (translated) shades.
The OnePlus Turbo 6 gets a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED Display with a 1.5K Resolution (2772 x 1272 pixels), up to 165Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, 100% DCI-P3, 1800 nits peak brightness, 450 ppi, HDR 10, 10-bit colours, and a 330Hz touch sampling rate. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC powers the device with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Additionally, the OnePlus Turbo 6 has a dual camera setup at the rear including a 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP f/2.4 Monochrome sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP f/2.4 sensor for selfies and video calls.
It is backed by a 9000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. Connectivity options include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v6.0, and USB-C for charging. Further, it runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Lastly, it equips dual stereo speakers, an optical fingerprint scanner under the display, is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated, and gets an X-Axis Linear Vibration Motor.
The Turbo 6V starts at CNY 1,900 (approx Rs 24,500) for the base 8GB + 256GB model. It comes in Fearless Blue, Nova White, and Lone Wolf Black (translated) hues.
The Turbo 6V does not differ a lot from the Turbo 6 except in a few key areas. The Turbo 6V gets the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In connectivity, it has Bluetooth v5.2 and Wi-Fi 6. While the display is largely the same, it gets lower 144Hz refresh rate compared to the Turbo 6. Rest of the connectivity options, battery size and charging speeds, IP ratings, and camera specs remain identical to the OnePlus Turbo 6.
