Redmi A7 and Redmi A7 Pro have been launched in India with a Unisoc chip, single rear camera, 64GB storage, and more.

Redmi A7 and Redmi A7 Pro are the two new 4G smartphones to arrive in India under the Rs 12,000 segment.

Both of them are powered by a Unisoc Processor and sport 120Hz displays along with LPDDR4x RAM. Here's everything to know about the two new devices.

The Redmi A7 Series will be available across Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail outlets, with sales starting from 23rd April. The Redmi A7 costs Rs 10,499 for the single 3GB + 64GB model while the Pro costs Rs 11,499 for the sole 4GB + 64GB model. Redmi A7 is available in Black and Sky Blue shades while A7 Pro comes in Sunset Orange and Black shades.

The Redmi A7 Pro sports a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels along with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 8-bit colours, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. The Redmi A7 has a 6.88-inch panel with 600 nits peak brightness while other features remain identical to the A7 Pro's panel

Under the hood, the phones pack a Unisoc T7250 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage which is also expandable up to 2TB through a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Redmi A7 Pro runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 out of the box and will receive 4 OS updates and 6 years of security updates. The Redmi A7 runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and will get 2 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

There is a 6300mAh battery under the hood of the Redmi A7 Pro with 15W Fast charging support and 7.5W reverse wired charging support. The Redmi A7 has a 5200mAh battery with 15W Fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.

On the rear, the Redmi A7 Pro gets a dual 13MP AI cameras and the A7 has a single 13MP sensor. For selfies, an 8MP front-facing camera is included in both phones.
