This marks the launch of an all-new series we haven't seen from the brand before. The first device in the series will debut in February and will cost below Rs 15,000, catering to the budget segment buyers.
"Rooted in Samsung's technological leadership and meaningful innovation, the Galaxy F70 series places camera at the centre of the smartphone experience," said Samsung while announcing the Galaxy F70 series India launch.
The Galaxy F70 series is touted to bring a "combination of strong hardware specs and innovative AI powered features, empowering their ambition and pace to stand out." The Galaxy F70 series will cater to the mid / affordable segment (under Rs 30,000). The first smartphone from the Galaxy F70 series will launch in February in 10-15K segment, "marking the beginning of a new chapter for Samsung's Galaxy F series portfolio," the company noted. The reveal will take place on February 2.
Meanwhile, the company also announced the Galaxy A07 5G India launch on January 29. This launch is also set to take place in February, during the first week. The device will come in two colour options including Light Violet and Green. In Phillipines, the device launched in Black and Light Violet shades. The price of the handset starts at Php 8,290 (approx Rs 12,950) for the 4GB + 64GB variant and PHP 9,990 (approx Rs 15,600) for the 4GB + 128GB variant.
The Galaxy A07 5G has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD panel with an Infinity-U notch, a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness and an HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Processor which is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. There's support for microSD card storage expansion up to 2TB also.
It packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. For optics, the Galaxy A07 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 Aperture and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. There's an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front facing shooter.
