Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G details have officially been revealed ahead of the device's March 17 launch in India.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G has been unveiled by the brand in India ahead of its launch slated for March 17. The device's design as well as its key specifications were also revealed by Samsung, suggesting it will be a budget handset.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G will be available in two shades: Blitz Blue and Vibe Violet. The device has a key island design with a flat frame and a pill-shaped camera module on the back.

On Samsung's website, it is stated that the device offers segment's highest OS & security upgrades and the segment is specified to be Rs 10,000 - Rs 15,000. Further, it will be available for purchase via Amazon India.

As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G will have a 6.7-inch PLS LCD panel with an Infinity-U notch and a 120Hz refresh rate, and an HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Processor. RAM and storage details are yet to be revealed.

It packs a 6000mAh battery while charging speeds are to be specified. For optics, the Galaxy M17e 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 Aperture and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. There's an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front facing shooter.

It will likely include connectivity features such as Dual-SIM 5G support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a USB-C port, NFC, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. It gets a side-facing fingerprint sensor and a single speaker for audio playback. The device runs on Android 16-based One UI 8.0 and will get six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
