Spotify 20 'Your Party of the Year(s)' Recap Shows You Your First Streamed Song

Spotify 20 Your Party of the Year(s) recap experience is now available inside Spotify's app and here's everything it shows.

Spotify is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with 'Spotify 20 Your Party of the Year(s)' recap experience that shows you your entire music history on the platform.

This includes the first song you ever streamed on Spotify, the date you joined the platform, and more. Here's how to check out your recap.

Spotify 20 Your Party of the Year(s) is a new, mobile-only in-app experience that "gives you a playful, nostalgia-driven look back at your music listening history." It reveals the moments that have defined your time with the music streaming service through never-before-shared data, including:

  • Your First Day on Spotify
  • Total Number of Unique Songs You Listened To
  • Your First Streamed Song
  • Your All-Time Most-Streamed Artist

Furthermore, you'll also get your All-Time Top Songs Playlist-a collection of your top 120 tracks, complete with play counts shown, ready to save to your library. Each data story comes with a share card found at the end of the experience, making it easy to save your results, send them to friends, or post them on social.

Note that Spotify 20 Your Party of the Year(s) is an experience available only inside Spotify's app and shows up on the homepage as a banner. It is not available on the web or anywhere else.

Recently, the company also announced a refreshed design for its tablet app that is "designed to make listening, watching, and discovery feel more natural on larger screens." The refreshed layout of the Spotify app for Android and iOS tablets is aimed at creating "a more seamless experience across screens where you use Spotify." Instead of merely scaling up mobile components, Spotify has designed the tablet experience to "take advantage of the extra space, so you can browse and discover new favourites right alongside what you're already playing." In addition, the improvements the platform makes for its mobile app can now also reach tablet users faster.
