Both the devices share most of the specifications except for the camera setups. The devices are powered by a MediaTek Helio series processor. Here's everything to know about the two new Camon series phones.

In Kenya, the Camon 50 is priced at KES 37,500 (approx Rs 26,400), while the Camon 50 Pro comes in at KES 44,000 (approx Rs 31,000). The devices come in Moonlight Black, Malachite Green, Nebula Titanium, Fir Green, Lavender Mist, and Ethereal Blue shades.

The Tecno Camon 50 Pro 4G and the Camon 50 4G sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED Display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K (2644 x 1204 pixels) resolution. However, the Pro model's display is curved on the sides while the vanilla model has a flat panel. They are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and get 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

They come backed by a 6150mAh battery with 45W Fast charging support. The handsets also offer a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. As for the camera setup, the Camon 50 gets an OIS-assisted 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-700C primary snapper and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor. The Pro model adds a 50MP f/2.4 telephoto sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom. There's a 32MP f/2.5 sensor on the front of both devices for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, IR blaster and a USB-C port on both. The devices also have an under-display optical fingerprint sensor and are IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated for dust and water resistance. They run on HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and will get 3 Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates.
