1.Question—tell me about yourself?
Answer — I am a 24- year old ordinary woman with an extraordinary dream. Completed my graduation from Jesus and Mary College, DU in 2019 and currently pursuing fashion as a freelance model and social media influencer. I also work as a part-time social media marketer and strategist.I am a passionate dancer. I have been trained in jazz, ballet, contemporary and dancehall dance styles. Hustling day and night for the past 14 years makes dancing one of the most important parts of my personality and my life as a whole. I am a young entrepreneur.
2.Question—share a memorable anecdote from your journey with Ms. Delhi?
Answer- I was completely confused and nervous with this entire decision at first. I have never been a part of a beauty pageant before and I never believed that I was made for it. It was my parents who insisted I give the auditions because they believed that it could do wonders for my career and so it happened! The whole team and all the participants were so humble and cheerful that my confusion and nervousness just melted away when I first met them. The rehearsals with Mr. Vishal boosted my confidence even more and I cannot thank him enough for giving us so much knowledge in just one day! It was an amazing experience.Last but not least, all the dresses just took my heart away, hats off to all the designers!
3.Question- how has your life/attitude changed after achieving such a title?
Answer— Winning Ms. Delhi is a very big thing as I competed with some of the most talented and smartest women in the city. I feel more confident and ambitious and I cannot wait to make all my dreams come true.I manifested the win, I worked for it and I got it. I believe if you want something in life, give that energy to the universe and it would take you where you want to be.I am grateful for this win!
4. Question—where do you see yourself five years and ten years down the line?
Answer- Honestly, I haven’t thought about it much because whatever I am doing right now is not what I had imagined I would be doing 5 years ago. I wanted to be a psychologist but here I am winning a beauty pageant and pursuing social media influencing and dancing! So I would just say that 5 or 10 years down the line I see myself happy, successful and confident in whatever I’ll be pursuing and most importantly guilt-free because I would know that this was the life I chose for myself and so, I have to make the most of it!
5.Question—what next?
Answer— Next, well, I am looking forward to working with some great brands and artists. I would be training myself for the national and international pageants as well.The hustle never stops!
