JAMUGURIHAT: The 88th birth anniversary of Bhola Kataky was observed in the namghar premises of Sangiya Major Chook, Jamugurihat on Wednesday with a day-long programme.
The birth anniversary of the prominent dramatist, director, actor, cine artist and Natasurya Phani Sarma Award winner was organized by the Youth Club of Sangiya Major Chook in association with the general public of the locality. The felicitation meeting was held with Maheswar Bora in the chair in which more than 20 socio-cultural organizations of Jamugurihat felicitated the cine artist on his 88th birth anniversary. Atul Hazarika, Sharat Bhuyan, Dharmeswar Baruah and Purna Nath spoke about the contribution of Bhola Kataky in the field of drama.
