NEW DELHI: Nepal opened its SAFF Women's Championship 2026 campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Bhutan on Monday at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa.

It was Dorji Edon's 23rd minute-own goal which proved to be the difference between the sides from Group A.
