World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz continues his title defence at the Monte-Carlo Masters 2026 as he reaches the semi-final stage, where he will face Monaco's rising star Valentin Vacherot for the first time in their careers.

In the next round, he stunned 4th seed Lorenzo Musetti in a high-pressure night match, winning 7-6(6), 7-5.

Vacherot then continued his impressive run in the quarterfinals by defeating 5th seed Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in a physically demanding 2-hour 24-minute battle, securing his place in the semi-finals.
