CBSE follows a step-by-step grievance redressal system for students:

1. Verification of Marks

Students can request checking of totalling errors, unevaluated answers, or data entry mistakes.

2. Photocopy of Answer Sheet

Candidates can obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book to review the marking.

3. Re-evaluation of Answers

Students can challenge specific questions if they believe marks have not been awarded correctly.

Each stage must be applied separately through the official CBSE portal within the given timeline.

CBSE Re-evaluation Fees for Class 10 & 12 Students

The fee structure for the post-result services is as follows:

-Verification of marks: ₹500 per subject
- Answer sheet photocopy: ₹500-₹700 per subject
- Re-evaluation of answers: ₹100 per question

CBSE has also clarified that all fees are non-refundable, even if the marks remain unchanged after re-evaluation.
