PSL 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 23-member commentary panel for the upcoming HBL PSL season, bringing together a mix of international stars and familiar local voices.
With both English and Urdu coverage, fans can expect an engaging and well-rounded broadcast throughout the tournament.
Shoaib Malik switches roles, joins Urdu panel for PSL 2026
A major highlight this year is former West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, who will be making his PSL commentary debut. At the same time, former Australian women's cricketer Lisa Sthalekar returns, adding more experience to the lineup.
After playing in all 10 previous PSL editions, Shoaib Malik is set to take on a new role this season as an Urdu commentator. He will be joined by former Pakistan captains Salman Butt and Sana Mir, giving the panel plenty of on-field insight.
The Urdu commentary team also features experienced names like Tariq Saeed, former Pakistan women's international Marina Iqbal, Shah Faisal, and Pepsi Voice of Pakistan 2022 winner Ayaz Chaudhary. Together, they make up a dedicated seven-member Urdu panel.
Global names headline English commentary
The English commentary panel includes a wide range of well-known international voices. Alongside Carlos Brathwaite, fans will hear South Africa's Jean-Paul Duminy and Michael Haysman, England's Dominic Cork, Nick Knight, and Mark Butcher, New Zealand's Martin Guptill, and Australia's Greg Blewett and Lisa Sthalekar. Bangladesh's Athar Ali Khan is also part of the lineup.
Pakistan's presence remains strong in the English panel as well, with former captains Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, and Aamir Sohail joining Urooj Mumtaz Khan and Bazid Khan to call the action.
Presentation team adds fresh faces
Sikandar Bakht will feature in a dual role, contributing both as a commentator and as part of the presenters' group.
This season will also see new presenters join the PSL. Renowned broadcasters Neroli Meadows and Jess Crowe are set to make their debut, alongside regular host Zainab Abbas, who continues to be a key part of the coverage.
