Nancy Guthrie Update Today: What Investigators Found in Uber Ride Footage Before 84-Year-Old Mother of Savannah Guthrie Disappeared in Arizona

Nancy Guthrie Missing Case Update: Authorities in Tucson continue to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, as new details emerge about her last known movements.

Investigators are closely examining the sequence of events on the evening before she went missing, especially an Uber ride she took to visit family members. Officials believe this timeline could be crucial in understanding what happened in the hours leading up to her disappearance.

Nancy Guthrie Update Today: Uber Ride Under Scrutiny, No Suspicious Activity Found

According to officials and recent findings, Nancy Guthrie used an Uber to travel to her daughter Annie Guthrie's residence for dinner. Later that night, her son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, dropped her back home at around 9:45 pm.

Investigative journalist Dave Mack shared key insights into the probe during a discussion on a crime show. He revealed that law enforcement thoroughly examined video footage from inside the Uber vehicle and questioned the driver in detail.

"The Uber driver turned over all the video from inside the vehicle. This was looked at by the investigation. They found nothing of substance or anything about Nancy Guthrie in the vehicle, anything she said, her demeanour, nothing was mentioned," he said.

"They interviewed the Uber driver at length. And again, there was nothing to report. It was just a regular pick up and drop off. Remember, Guthrie only took the Uber, leaving her house and going to Annie [Guthrie] and Tommaso [Cioni]," he added.

Officials confirmed that the footage showed no unusual behaviour, suggesting the ride was routine and uneventful.

CCTV Footage and Digital Evidence Under Review

As the investigation progresses, authorities are now analysing additional surveillance footage from cameras installed near Guthrie's residence. The goal is to reconstruct her movements after she returned home and identify any suspicious activity in the area.

Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pima County Sheriff's Department are jointly handling the case. Officials are also reviewing digital records and other forms of evidence collected over the past several weeks.

Disappearance Raises Kidnapping Concerns

Nancy Guthrie went missing from her home in Tucson on February 1. Investigators suspect that she may have been abducted during the early morning hours, although no concrete evidence has confirmed this theory so far.

Despite weeks of investigation, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not identified any clear suspects. The case has now entered its seventh week, increasing concerns among family members and the public.

Nancy Guthrie Update Today: Search Efforts Continue Amid Growing Questions

Law enforcement agencies continue to follow multiple leads while urging anyone with information to come forward. The absence of suspicious findings in the Uber ride has shifted focus to what happened after Guthrie returned home.

As the investigation deepens, officials hope that surveillance footage, witness accounts, or new evidence will help solve the case. For now, the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie remains a troubling mystery, with many unanswered questions still surrounding her final hours.
